Description: Carried out policy, planning, and evaluation activities by providing leadership, direction, and management in the development and maintenance of initiatives to advance the mission of the organization and support capabilities to plan, direct, and coordinate national and international progress on issues related to mental health.

Project Management and Program Development. Led special projects such as preparing decision papers relating to the funding of programs for use in briefings for a variety of officials, including White House and OMB officials and for getting decisions on major policy issues. Oversaw a variety of program development activities for the organization. Led activities to facilitate budget and performance integration. Facilitated the development of the organization’s comprehensive programmatic and scientific response to emerging public health issues including the establishment of new activities.
